Retro 1979 Sashiko and Quilting Book (Japanese)

"Handcraft  Book:  Sashiko and Quilting'  by Ondori company in excellent condition. Around the late 1970’s sashiko started to become popular as a hobby for a lot of people who didn’t necessarily have any strong family connection to traditional sashiko. This mook (magazine/book)  was published in 1979  and has patterns for some traditional items like a furoshiki wrapping cloth,  noren curtain, mirror cover and zabuton cushions as well as some non-traditional projects like a table coth and place mats. There are also some western style quilting projects. There are colour pictures of each project and black and white instructions and patterns in the back.
